Clinique China hired our services for one of the longest-running, farthest-reaching experience marketing campaigns to ever run in China. In a bid to increase sales Clinique hired multiple Red Suit Experience professionals to design a still ongoing 18-month long, China-wide rebranding campaign.
After extensive research, we recommended that instead of embarking on a rebranding campaign, we suggested they maintain their packaging and materials but instead strive to associate the brand with whimsy and youth. One of our professionals worked at a different Clinique counter every weekend, drawing crowds with art and performances, and spurring sales by requiring a receipt for a purchase of more than RMB 2,000 in order to acquire a bespoke balloon or become part of the performance.
