Our project with Quaker Oats China: The client’s goal was a web commercial targeting Chinese urbanites that would associate their instant breakfast product with youth and fun. Our strategy was to meld the quality of a profession video with a concept that could have been fan-made, ensuring a seamless production but creating a closer consumer-product experience. A number of memory and choice tools were utilized in the filming to facilitate brand recognition, brand choice, and brand intrigue- can you find them all in the video? (Hint: there are more than a dozen) The use of magic and humor turned the commercial into a source of entertainment. The result was a mesuarble increase in market share of 17.8% and a direct click bump in request for a product sample over the previous business quarter.
