China’s answer to YouTube, Tudou, held an opening ceremony for an awards show. Red Suit Experience provided branding reinforcement through an interactive, magic and balloon show oriented to families and young consumers.
We incorporated product pitches and promotions in the evening’s experience, asking members from the crowd, “If you had a Huawei smart phone that could do everything you want a phone to do, what would you name your Huawei phone?” VIPs gifted a promotional phone were asked to name it, solidifying their relationship with and ownership of the branded phone.
